After their early elimination at this year’s International, LGD-Gaming became the first team in China to undergo a roster change as Liu “Sylar” Jiajun departed from the team in a dramatic way. Whilst the departure of the highly-rated 19-year-old was normal for many insiders, it came as a surprise for the community. Sylar joined the ranks of LGD-Gaming from World Elite in November 2011 and has since then developed into one of the most successful youngsters, if not players, in the country. Despite his young age, he has helped the team triumph in several major events such as the G-1 Champions League, The Asia 2012 and the RedBull ECL not to mention an honorable third place finish at The International 2012. His departure put his former club in a very delicate situation, but they are now ready to renew their goals of victory after officially signing a Sylar-esque player in new recruit Wang “xiaotuji” Zhang.
