The Russian organization
RoX.KIS is taking a break from its Dota 2 activities and therefore suspends its roster. They’ve been one of the favorites for the European qualifier of The International 4 but somehow fell apart in the qualifier playoffs and finished 3rd. Not making it to the main tournament is probably the main reason for this decision.
Statement Denis ‘PODOX’ Pestretsov (team manager)
Hello everyone. The contracts with the current roster have expired, and after some talks we made a collective decision to split. The guys will play out 2 remaining tournaments where they entered the playoffs under the RoX.KIS name and will then decide their own fate themselves. As for ourselves, the RoX.KIS team, we are taking a break until the end of The International 4 and suspend all activity of the Dota 2 division. We thank all our players for hard work and wish them the best in the future! We want to especially thank those who supported us and the team!
Statement Artur ‘Goblak’ Kostenko (team captain)
In the near future we shall play out our remaining tournaments with the rest of the team and will try to take a short break from Dota. I don’t know how our pro-gaming career will unfold in the future and I am not going to promise anything. I want to thank the RoX.KIS team and our fans for their support!
