The second round of the lower bracket is finished and the upper bracket semi-finals are set. That means that eight participators of this year’s TI are already out of the tournament. Unfortunately those teams are also out of the money since the prizepool is distributed to the remaining eight teams in the tournament.
Surprisingly LGD Gaming and Team Zenith are already out of the tournament which is the first big upset of the tournament. LGD came to Seattle to win the ~ $1,3 million but has been stopped by Team Liquid in the second round of the lower bracket. Zenith on the other hand lost in the same round to Invictus Gaming, last year’s champion of TI.
Disappointment is probably the best word to describe the tournament for the following teams that are out:

- Virtus.Pro
- Team Dignitas
- LGD Gaming.Int

- Team Zenith
